Our Mission

Goals
  • Improve and promote the professionalism of State Police personnel through support of training efforts and promotion of enrollment in accredited degree programs and initiatives;
  • Establish partnerships with business entities on a Troop and State level;
  • Coordinate initiatives with outside law enforcement agencies to leverage or broaden outreach efforts;
  • Provide opportunities to positively influence children, adolescents, and adults;
  • Foster a positive image of Louisiana State Police as an organization committed to protecting and serving the citizens and visitors of the State; and
  • Serve Troopers and their families in need.

Vision

The Louisiana Trooper Foundation will encourage and support the agency in its continuing effort to be recognized as a leader in law enforcement, traffic safety, training, and source of assistance for local agencies.

Fundraising Opportunities

The Louisiana Trooper Foundation offers a unique opportunity for contributors to help in the development of a number of responsible programs and initiatives for the communities served by State Police. The Louisiana Trooper Foundation is recognized as a non-profit organization, and your donations are fully tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Contributions or donations may be either "unrestricted" or "restricted." An "unrestricted donation" may be used to support any current priorities identified by the Trooper Foundation operating in conjunction with Louisiana State Police. Unrestricted donations may be allocated to one or more programs, according to need. A "restricted donation" allows the donor to specify exactly to which program, project or service of the Foundation to which the donation may be applied.

For additional information or questions concerning the Louisiana Trooper Foundation, please call 225-346-HELP (4357) for assistance.
